happy pets, loving homes

March 24, 2008 / by lilscrappy

I get up to go downstairs this morning and my dad greets me with, "you going to clean up the sink?" Oh God. The original chore girl. I don't have to do all this shit at my place. Soon there'll be a day when I won't have to do it at all. Yay! I don't mind cleaning up after my bunny, actually she's everybody's responsibility, but primarily mine when I'm there. She's so cute, cuddly and quiet. Sometimes I wished she'd make some noise, like Sonic does. My brother wants to give him up! It's his allergies. Sonic is just killing him. I says to him, "but you had him for three years already! Why give him up now?" It's just getting bad for him. But it's mainly me and mommy that give him snacks to calm him down when he makes noise. I just love guinea pigs. My brother's friend's mom sees Sonic and cringes. Why? They're so adorable! I like their crinkily ears, and they come in a variety of amazing colors and hair length. Sometimes I go on petfinder.com just to look at all the different kinds that are up for adoption. Less guinea pigs in shelters and more belonging to loving homes please! That goes for rabbits and ferrets too. I like small animals. In good old times my brother used to let Sonic run around his room. Now he just takes him out to clean his cage. I saw some on the BBC and immediately started cooing and caaing like a little kid whining over a puppy. I know my brother's suffering, but Sonic needs him! Giving him up at his age would be like a parent kicking a teenager out the house and disowning him. I can't let Sonic come from a broken home! John, just take the TV out of the room I sleep in and put Sonic's cage in there! Mommy will have hours of entertainment. She says Sonic's her therapy when she comes home from a hard day's work. In that case I hope the little creature lives a long life, beyond six years.

I wish you could take Sonic. I can tell how much you love him. I agree with you on not understanding how he could give him up after 3 years. Can't he take some allergy pills? lol

yeah he has lots of pills but I've got to find out why it's not affecting him
