I wish my bunny could talk. Then we’d be the best of friends. She doesn’t make any noises, unlike my brother’s guinea pig. My brother said she did make noises when he put her and his guinea pig together to see if they’d get along. It didn’t work out. I like the way he squeals whenever somebody comes near my brother’s bedroom door. He likes carrots and apples, but my brother doesn’t give him any! It’s just me and my mom that give him treats. He’s so cute. I was writing that he should be an animal model. He’s making noises again! I have the computer room door open. I can hear. Whenever he starts to squeak real loud, my brother will slam his hand on the computer table and wait… more squeaking? Slam! It’s like he doesn’t like him. I mean, I know you’re not supposed to feed them carrots and other stuff because of the high sugar they have in them, but at least come over and give him some guinea pig treats! He likes those too, the vegetable ones. So if he’s had enough sugary treats from the fridge, we’ll give him a drop or two. My bunny eats the carrot drops that are made for guinea pigs. At night, when it’s time for her to come inside, we’ll put some in her cage to coax her and when she’s in, we close the door. My mom bought a new cage for her that’s bigger, but she still prefers the old one. She’s been in there since she was a baby, I guess, it’s the only cage she knows. My mom was trying to get her to get into the old cage, so we coaxed her with some dried peas (she loves them) She got in and I closed the door. After a while, I could tell she was clearly uncomfortable in there. I told her, “Yeah, I know how it feels getting into something you’re not used to. I know the other cage is your baby.” I know she was looking at her old cage from where she was locked in and she didn’t like where she was, so when my mom came back outside, I said, “please, take her out.” I forgot how much my mom paid for this new cage. We saw something similar to it at a pet store. It has a wire bottom with bedding underneath in a tray you can slide out. My mom tried to make it look real cozy in there but I haven’t seen my bunny go in. The first time we tried to coax her, she got near to the entrance and backed out. It’s too bad I can’t use that cage for guinea pigs. I’d put about three in there. But then I’d be like, “you three have each other but I’m all alone? No fair!”
