Unfortunate

There was an incident that happened right here in New York(or should I say, over there, but we're so close, New York and J.C.) There was this guy that was found dead in his house. He had been dead for a YEAR. Would you believe that? Nobody cared about him. I know I complain about my loneliness and emptiness, and although nobody comes to check on me, I do get calls from my immediate family (cousins? Aunts? Uncles? forgeddaboudit) so that unfortunate ending that man saw would never happen to me. I mean, not for a YEAR. It's not like my folks call me everyday, so if I were to die in front of the TV(like this poor man did), there would probably be some decomposition, depending on when we spoke last. The temperature in this man's house had kept him preserved; he was a mummy when they found him. Eww. Could you still have an open casket in that condition? Wait. I've seen the Egyptian mummies before. That would look kind of gross on display, wouldn't it? But that is so sad! I wonder what his life was like? The mailman thought he was on vacation, that he just lived there in the summer. Man, I hope whatever loneliness he felt in life, now in death he is surrounded with love.
